Cortina had over 400cm of snow in the last 3 weeks, on top of the almost 150cm that fell since Christmas. school was closed for over a week. the arena too. they brought in the military to clear the roof of the schools, but the the load on the roof of the rink is too great, so it’s still closed while they clean it:
Clay’s team practices in one town, plays games in another. the roof of the curling rink collapsed so there’s a lot of sad curlers around town. it poured rain a few days ago, and last night more snow. what a winter!
